HOT

Today was HOT and long. At lunchtime we did skits for the upcoming ASB elections. I never realized how much work it was to set up the sound pacific system and how much I hated running sound from it. …

During lunchtime I saw Domi … Between Chemistry and Spanish I got a chance to talk with Aimee! She is such a nice girl …

Cheerleaders

Today we got to find out who it was that made the 1998-99 cheer squads. Aimee, Amy, Allison, Alison, Nikole, Jen, Charyl, Kate, Nina and I think Domni made it along with lots of other people. I meet up with Kate walking to the 140s this morning and she followed me hanging onto my arms. She even came into my class and waited there for a while until she finally figured out that I wasn’t going to tell her anything about it. She was so mad at me for not telling her if she had made it or not. … I’m really not sure what triggered it, but it made me think – Who would you jump in front of a bullet for? …

Cheerleaders

I haven’t been writing for the last week because I have been so busy! Monday through Thursday I was at the high school until seven o’clock each night because of cheer practice. It wasn’t too bad, but it was a big waste of time, which really hurt me academically and physically because I’m tired.

On Friday night Chris, Wendy, Tina, Jesse, Nathaniel and I went to the movies to see City of Angels. On the way there Nathaniel directed me to the wrong theater which wasn’t even showing City of Angels. We got back on the freeway and floored it up to Murrieta where we finally met up with the rest of the group. The movie wasn’t particularly good nor bad. I would not go back and see it again, but I’m glad I got to see it. Now I want to see Object of My Affection, but the movie is rated R so I’m not sure how I’m going to get in to see it. Maybe I’ll get Chris to take me to it because he’s over 21. After the movie, Jesse made an idiot out of himself in the parking lot and a cop saw him. The cop followed him out to the street where Jesse did something else and got pulled over. Somehow Jesse was able to talk the cop out of the ticket, I don’t know how he did it, but he did.

On Saturday morning I ran music for cheer tryouts. It wasn’t particularly fun, but it wasn’t too bad because I made $20. After that I came home for a while and then went to Chris’s and watched him work on laying the audio for the 1995 Dance Performance.

Today I spent most of the day at the Avocado Festival. When I wasn’t there I was here doing homework. At the festival I helped direct people and just hung out at some times. It wasn’t too bad, but it (like the cheer tryouts) wasn’t particularly fun. Oh well, that’s my life. The high point of the festival was when I walked up to see who was at the cheer booth and it was Aimee. She and I talked for a little while and then we split up and she went down to the other booth as I went home to finish up my homework. I wish Aimee and I could spend more time together. …

Mr. Bouse

At nutrition today Chris showed up at school. It was really neat to see him again and we are really going to miss him once he leaves for good. He brought us some equipment that we can use while he is “out of the country.” After school today I had an orthodontist appointment, but first I came home to grab something to eat, check my email and brush my teeth. Then I got to sit at the orthodontist for an hour or so. After the orthodontist I went to the high school for cheerleading tryouts. It was interesting. I got to spent some time with “the girls.” …

Aimee sent me an e-mail about creating a CD for her from tapes. She says that it will take a long time to do, but she is interested in making one. …

Fun in Pasadena

Well, I had fun in Pasadena. We saw Mercury Rising and U.S. Marshalls. They were both good. U.S. Marshalls was almost exactly like The Fugitive. I also bought three new CDs: Grease, City of Angels and Marcy Playground. I also bought a new pager. I’m really hoping that ASB will want to reimburse me for the cost of the pager considering that it cost $159 plus $20 activation and 8.25% tax. We didn’t do too much else.

When I came back I noticed that Jen had called and when I called her back I learned that she had been grounded from the telephone. …

Vending Machine Fun

Well I haven’t written for a long time now and I can’t blame it on my being busy or anything. Actually, I have been pretty bored since Saturday. Tom, Susan and Matthew went on a trip to Oregon or somewhere up there from Saturday till Monday night. They left me here to take care of the house. I pretty much laid back and did absolutely nothing the entire time they were gone and it was somewhat nice, but boring.

Friday was an interesting day at school. That afternoon Ryan and I fixed machines to accept the new Dr. Pepper and Ruby Red bottles. After Ryan went home and I continued to change and stock the machines Charyl and two of her friends came by. …

Sunday night I called up Jen …

Tomorrow I’m going up to Pasadena and coming back on Saturday. …
