I met the new ASB director today. She’s not bad, but she definitely isn’t Ghelber. We got a lot of work done today in terms of cleaning out all the stuff down below. … while Samantha and Matthew were at the Wild Animal Park I had absolutely nothing to do after I got home from school. I still haven’t had any luck with the scanner, but I sent an e-mail to tech support and hopefully they will get back to me sometime soon. Don’t know what’s happening tomorrow. They want me back at the school and I have to be there for my 2:30 appointment, but I also really want to spend time with Samantha while she is here. I also have some other things to think about. However, you know how much I love the school and how much fun I have there. Samantha and Matthew actually want to go back there tomorrow so maybe they can come with me. I also really need to stock soda machines tomorrow. I can’t think of much else. …

Well, Stephanie is up at Kristies now. Kristy has really grown up a lot since the last time I saw her … Believe it or not I actually went up there with her to Tom’s farm to trade her and her stuff. I miss her already, but I’m too tired right now to care. This morning/afternoon we all went to Best Buy (where I bought half of a scanner), Carl’s Jr., The Movie Experience where we saw the Parent Trap and Target where Samantha bought a CD boombox. I want to say more, but I’m too tired.

Well, I can’t use my computer right now because it is busy making a cd for Samantha. Stephanie and I made a CD this morning for her. Then we all went down to the high school for about an hour and just cruzed around. I can’t think of what we did after we got home, but at some point around 3:30 the girls started bugging me about going to the beach with them. I finally convinced them that I wasn’t going to go – it only took about a half an hour to let them figure it out. They went to the beach for an entire six hours! I’m really glad I didn’t go. About 2 hours before they came home I convinced Tom to let me go down to Taco Bell for dinner. While I was waiting at the light on Main & Fallbrook St. Amy Larsen turned the corner and recognized my car and me. For some reason or another I looked into her car and I saw her and we both smiled at each other and waved. …

I rearranged part of my room today. I moved the speakers to the sides of my computer desk. I’m trying to find a way to achieve better stereo. Unfortunately, now I figured out that when I watch TV the sound will only becoming from the left front and left rear because of where the speakers are placed. I’m going to try it for a while. It will give me much better stereo while I am sitting at my desk, which is where I sit a lot of the time. Stephanie is leaving either tomorrow night or Thursday morning for Christies. I hope that she leaves Thursday because that will be one more complete day here. … I really hope that they move somewhere close so that we can visit them more frequently. …

Well, they are finally here and Stephanie and I have spent a lot of time together since we’ve been home, but Stephanie wouldn’t ride with me home. When we were in Kansas, she complained that “she was going to die” when I was driving. I don’t see why she wouldn’t want me to drive her around. Last year she sounded so happy when I told her that next year I could be driving all by my own. The first day we were in Kansas she wanted me to drive her around then, but now she doesn’t seem to want me to. It’s like the doesn’t trust me. … Half-way through the night, Wendy paged me and I called her back and we talked for a long time while Stephanie, Samantha and Matthew tried to make trouble for me and couldn’t wait for me to get off the phone. When I got off, we didn’t do anything. Everyone has finally gone to bed now and I actually have a little bit of peace and quiet. …

I didn’t accomplish much today, but it wasn’t a complete and total waste. This morning I was able to blow around the house which hadn’t been done for quite a while so was very good to get done. I have also been working on cleaning up my room all day. It is finally starting to look pretty good. My list of things to accomplish for tomorrow is: vacuum (at least my room, if not the entire house), dust, clean out the pool and back-flush the filter, vacuum my car out and finish cleaning up my room. Yesterday Tom told me that Susan and Matthew would be picking up Stephanie and Samantha at the airport. I was really looking forward to doing that and may just do it anyway – just because I can and nothing is stopping me from doing it. I does seem a little stupid not to, but I also don’t completely trust that Susan and Matthew will be there on-time to pick them up and I want to make sure that they are all ok.

This afternoon Tom and I went out to eat at Oscars for dinner. It was really good, but my stomach started hurting on the way home. It then continued to hurt for many hours afterward and I finally took two Aleve’s to help the problem. It stopped hurting fairly soon after I took the Aleve. I can’t think of much else besides the fact that I can’t wait for Stephanie and Samantha to be here. I really want to see them. … That’s enough for me. Till tomorrow.

We mainly looked at houses today. Didn’t do much else besides that. We worked with Norm from one until about seven. We looked at a lot of houses. The city of Tucson is huge! I think I’ve decided that it is just easier and nicer to just buy a brand new house instead of one that is a re-sell. It doesn’t make since that you can get a semi-custom house for the same or less than you can get a pre-owned house for. …

Went to eat at HomeTown Buffett this morning and then went shopping at Wal*Mart. Came home did some stuff, nothing much. I worked on my spanish project a little bit actually! Then we went back to Wal*Mart because I wanted to get a travel bag for all my toiletry stuff. Didn’t do much else.

Debbie went to work today while I stayed home today, but I had an dentist appointment first thing this morning. It went OK. I never like going to the dentist so I’m not going to say that it was fun, but it wasn’t very bad. I didn’t really do anything the rest of the day, just watched tv. Tom didn’t e-mail me my spanish until early this afternoon so I couldn’t do anything and then I couldn’t read it as files, just in the browser. I just got lazy and watched TV. Later this afternoon I got my haircut at Fantastic Sams. …

Didn’t do much. Just went to Caltech. Was tired when we got home so didn’t really do anything here. I forgot to bring my Spanish files with me so I couldn’t do anything with them, but wrote Tom and e-mail and he’s going to email them to me on Friday. Can’t think of much else. … Norma called and said that the vending machines at the pool are empty and need to be stocked, but unfortunately it won’t happen until Monday. Hope everything goes OK. …

Debbie and I went and got the Dodge Caravan checked up this morning and while we were waiting for it we looked around and I test drove a 1998 Chevrolet Astro Van. It had a lot of room in it and was very nice. My head was just about hitting the top of the van and I had some problems seeing traffic lights in it. I would really love to have a new vehicle to haul all of my stuff around in. After that we went to work, but didn’t do anything there. Tomorrow Debbie is going to try to do some work while I try to work on my Spanish project, which I really want to get done while I am here. Other than that we didn’t really do anything else today. I bought a new cd, but I can’t think of what it was called. It was one of the ones that Stephanie had and played while we were in Sarah’s Blazer. …

I got kicked out of the house today because Susan just doesn’t like me I guess. Well that’s life. I was very tired on the way driving up here. This morning I got to register for my classes, get my books, take pictures and do all that other fun stuff. I also worked in the career center on the website for a good portion of the morning. I would say that I worked for about 3 hours today. Hopefully I can invoice the school for that so I can make some extra change now. I would also really like it if I was able to get my check from Norma, but since she has been busy with registration stuff I haven’t been able to. I also didn’t get to stock all of the machines that I needed to before I left. The machines by the pool are really starting to get low. The soda machine is out of a couple things and candy is starting to get low. Fortunately I was able to get a little bit done on the lower machines yesterday. I also forgot to change the marquee, but Marc Steffler hasn’t said anything to me about changing it yet, so he obviously doesn’t need it done very badly. This morning I checked on plane fares to Toronto on Air Canada in December so that I could visit Stephanie. I don’t think its really worth it to go there, especially since they might actually be moving then. I really hope that they relocate somewhere local so that I can visit them more frequently. …

This morning I woke up to find a bunch of toilet paper all around our house. Apparently someone thought it would be funny. It’s the second time they’ve done it in just a week. The last two Sunday nights someone has toilet papered our house. …

I’m missing Stephanie so much that I even started thinking about the songs she listened to while we were in Kansas. I even bought a CD today hoping that it would have song on it that I listened to with Stephanie. I can’t wait until she gets here.
