So tonight at Friday’s, i walk in the door looking for Batchelor, pyro and Bouse and who do I find? Amanda! Seriously the first thing I saw when I walked in the door was her and I couldn’t believe it. I figured that it had to be someone that just kind of looked like her and I asked Floate who was with me if that was Amanda and he didn’t seem to be too sure… I still thought I was dreaming, but I walked over there and said hi and sure enough it was Amanda. …
Bouse decided to show up tonight at the Bob and when he did he mentioned all the other vehicles that were out behind the theatre. I walked back there with him, found them all and called out the CHP. An officer was there fairly quickly and he had 5 of the 6 cars gone within minutes. While we were waiting for the towtruck for the final car, I thought that the vehicle in question might have been Steffler’s, and indeed it was. Steffler was just seconds from being towed. All the paperwork had been filled out and the officer was just waiting for the tow to arrive.
Other than the cars in the firelane, the show tonight went fairly well. They brought a CD with a powerpoint presentation on it thinking that we could run it for them and then I shared with them that I didn’t have any way of doing it for them. I ended up setting up my laptop for the slideshow which they were just showing as people were coming in.
The gig this morning went fine, nothing to report there. After I got off I came home and then Bouse & Amanda came over for whatever reason.

OK, so after the like 2 hours of sleep, I think it was more like 2 1/2… I’m ready to go back to bed, but I must first of all go to the good old Bob-o.

I just got home from a wonderful evening with Amanda… … I suggested going to see the movie that she had wanted to see the other night, Connie and Carla and she seemed to think that was a good idea. I picked her up about 9:30 which was 10 minutes before the planned movie was to start back in Temecula. Fortunately, there was a 10:20 showing in Vista and we decided to go there instead of rushing to Temcula or Murrieta. …
We ended up being the only people in the threatre which was rather nice because it let us talk whenever we wanted during the movie, even though we kept that to a minimum. We didn’t really do or say much during the movie … Oh look.. that is just two hours away… i better go to sleep, but I’m not even tired …

Wow… I need something better to do than sit here and watch music videos in iTunes… Oh wait… I guess I could be doing homework or responding to emails, but both of those things take too much effort!
I would have given you all of my heart
But there’s someone who’s torn it apart
And he’s taken just all that I have
But if you want I’ll try to love again
Baby, I’ll try to love again but I know
The first cut is the deepest
Baby I know the first cut is the deepest
But when it comes to being lucky he’s cursed
When it comes to loving me he’s worst
I still want you by my side
Just to help me dry the tears that I’ve cried
And I’m sure going to give you a try
And if you want I’ll try to love again (tryyy)
Baby, I’ll try to love again but I know
The first cut is the deepest
Baby I know the first cut is the deepest
But when it comes to being lucky he’s cursed
When it comes to loving me he’s worse
I still want you by my side
Just to help me dry the tears that I’ve cried
But I’m sure gonna give you a try
‘Cause if you want I’ll try to love again (try to love again)
Baby, I’ll try to love again but I know
The first cut is the deepest
Baby I know, the first cut is the deepest
When it comes to being lucky he’s cursed
When it comes to loving me he’s worst
The first cut is the deepest baby i know
The first cut is the deepest try to love again…

So I get to the Bob this morning to find that no one fell in the pit (at least that I could tell) and that half of the house lights don’t work. I actually didn’t notice it at first, but as soon as Michael walked into the house he started asking me why half of them were off. Everything appeared fine from the control side of things, but yet nothing was coming out. I came to find out that we had a power outage last night, so I’m starting to think that there is something wrong with the ELTS system.
The power outage would also explain why the marquee didn’t update for the first time in a week and a half or whatever. The error I had was apple event timed out, seemed like it was something to do with sending to sign… maybe the laptop kept running (along with very slightly possibly the internet connection), but the sign was dead and that’s where the problem was. I think it should be good to go now again though…
The drive up to school was going great until we came over the hill to the 91 on the 15 and we practically stopped. The bridge to the 91 didn’t look like it was moving at all, but yet the freeway looked like it was moving, at least a bit. Alison told me that it was bad most of the way through so I decided to be adventurous and try a different route. I drove up to the 60 and then took the 57 South. That worked out alright, even though I found traffic on the 60. It didn’t actually add too much time to the commute, but it would have been nice to get here early so that I would have had more reading time.
I drove through Del Taco, found a parking spot fairly quickly and then headed to the library to get the last chapter read in my business law book before the exam today. I think that it went well, but we’ll see… it’s always hard to tell with that class. Then it was back to the car, changed out the books and back to the library to read 8 chapters for my isds class. I was actually amazed at some of the stuff that they covered in that book (not that I read it, but as i was looking for the items on the review sheet i saw some things). They had the OSI model in the network chapter and a bunch of other things that impressed me. I might actually have to start taking a look at the text inside the book for the final! I got 49/50 on that exam, just missed a question on cookies. I could have argued the question, but it wasn’t worth it seeing that I already had a 98%.
Now it’s time for Econ…

What am I supposed to do for the summer? I could knock out 3 classes at Fullerton, but that is going to require a lot of work and the schedule is going to suck. (I’ll post more on it later.)
Should I take the 3 classes (9 units) over the summer so that I can start with upper division classes in the fall or should I wait and let myself go smoothly through the process? Another option would be to take 1 or 2 classes during the first or second summer session so that I still have some time off… Suggestions?

Can now have your music on up to 5 computers, but one can only burn a “protected” playlist 7 times now instead of 10.
A free song each week, but for the next 8 days they will be giving out a free song each day.

Classes went fine yesterday and I actually made it through all of them without falling asleep for too long. It was a good thing that out accounting teacher let us out at 8:30, cause I wasn’t going to make it home if she let us out any later than that.
Today, I almost fell back asleep before going to the Bob this morning… that would have been kind of bad, don’t you think? Anyways, I got there and still had time to get the computer moved over and setup to stream the video to the TV studio for rebroadcasting. We actually had the video going through the IP network to the studio and then getting broadcast on ch 4 along with getting put out the windows media server. I then joined the windows media stream to watch it on my laptop sitting back there in the Bob. There was a good 15 second delay or something before what happened live got back to me through wmp.
Sarah came over to slow down one of the dance songs. Unfortunately it didn’t take that long and then she was back to class. It’s hard to believe that the dance show is next week… I guess I better get started on scanning those pictures!
After the Bob I came home to do some reading for business law and I finally got an email back from Amanda about the DMV. She called me, cause I was too slow at calling her, we met up and then went to the DMV to get her license renewed and a new picture taken for me. The wait wasn’t too bad there and I would have to say that this was by far the best DMV experience I’ve ever had… maybe it was just the present company…
After the DMV we had some time to spare before getting back to town and seeing that it was free cone day at Ben & Jerry’s. We headed over there and each got our free scoop of mint chocolate chunk and then ventured outside to eat it while it melted due to the extreme heat! Lauren ended up calling while we were walking and I handed the phone to Amanda because I figured Lauren may have wanted to talk to her or if she didn’t know that Amanda was with me, I could have confused her. When Amanda checked her phone to see why Lauren called me instead of her, she remembered that it was on silent and then discovered that the cover over her screen had popped out of place. I spent some time trying to fix it and then decided that we should head to a Cingular store so that they could at least get the cover off for us and maybe fix it. We headed to the mall, stopped at Macy’s and then walked around to find a cell phone face plate vendor who tried to fix it, but it just broke again. He ended up putting something around the cover to hold it in place which so far seems to have worked. I’ll have to remember to support this guy in the future since he went above and beyond to fix her phone for her and not just try to sell her a new face plate. After the mall it was home for her and off to the Bob for me.
This evening at the Bob went well, but I was surprised to find a packed house! There were only a couple seats left in that place. I was very surprised. No one fell in the pit or anything so I think that all else went well. We’ll see if anyone falls in over night!
I got a little bit of more reading done at the Bob and was out of there around 8:30. I was supposed to meet up with pyro & batch for dinner, but pyro got called to go to Palm Springs (but that changed and he didn’t go). I came home, had some Special K and then some Krispy Kreme doughnuts for dessert and am now ready for bed.

When are we going to the Cheesecake Factory???
I’m going through withdrawals! Friday for lunch, maybe Saturday? I don’t think there is enough time in there anywhere!
Maybe I’ll go alone tomorrow night on my way home from school! Anyone want to meet me???

I successfully got up early this morning to work at the Bob. I was actually there at 6:15, which is pretty impressive for me considering that I haven’t been to sleep before 2 for the past couple nights. Cary was really good, I think that most of the students, and even me enjoyed him. Michael told me today that there is a new event on Friday which could put a hamper on the bike ride plans. He told me that if it was setup for him that he could run it on his own, but I could use the extra money and it should be a really easy gig so I may have to go in. Maybe we’ll do the ride at some other point. That just means that I’m working every morning now until Sunday! Why can’t I sleep in anymore?
I had to run home after leaving the high school to get a battery for my laptop that I stupidly left at home and then I hit the road to Fullerton. I actually got here fairly quickly and found a parking spot after just a couple minutes, but then I had to wait for Ryan to get here so that we could go to lunch. He ended up not getting here until about 11:45 and by the time we got to In & Out there was no parking there! I called Tammy to see what she wanted to do and she suggested that we go to KFC, so we did… Got back from there and straight to class. I really don’t want to be here… I want to go home and go to sleep, but I have two exams on Wednesday so I figure that I should be here to get whatever help I can. I’ve got a lot of reading to do tomorrow for both business law and isds. I wonder if I can skip accounting and go home early… Nah.. I should probably go… maybe I’ll just leave early…
Nothing else really to report …

I actually got up this morning and went for the bikeride even though I didn’t get to sleep until 3 or so. It was nice and warm for my ride, but wasn’t too bad. Ryan wasn’t willing to come because he thought that it was too hot out to go riding and he had other stuff that he was working on. I actually rather enjoyed the ride this morning on my own… Just kicked it into gear and listened to some music. No bad mental images or anything! It gave me some good thinking time, although I sure couldn’t tell you what I was thinking about… I assume it was about … but it also reminds me of all the other friends that I just never took the time to call… most because I didn’t feel that they really wanted me to call. …
Got back from the ride about 11:30 to find a message from Bouse about going to the Avo Fest with Amanda, Lauren and himself. I picked up briefly last night on their plans to go, but wasn’t really interested in going. I would most likely have gone if I had been ready to meet up with them, but seeing as how I had just returned from the ride, I needed some cool down time and then a shower. I wanted …
In any event, I ended up talking with Alison briefly cause I didn’t call her back from yesterday and then got in the shower. When I got out Bouse was calling again to see where I was and I reminded him that I had said that I probably wouldn’t come down if left to my own free-will. They kept trying to get me to come down, but I really didn’t want to go try to meet up with them and face all the crowds of people there… I hate going places where everyone knows me… Especially when they all want something from me! I also had/have lots of homework to do and I was able to do some reading in Business Law before practically falling asleep reading it. I took a short nap and in that time I must have received 8 phone calls/messages. Bouse wanted to go to Chili’s and the girls were coming… Lauren told me I wasn’t allowed to come because I didn’t to go the Avo Fest and I was fine with that. I was going to go back to doing my homework and try to get some other stuff done, but then Bouse told me that they had a seat for me or something silly and I told them I’d go if they picked me up.
We were at Chilis for a long time, eating and then just playing around until they asked us to leave cause they were getting busy and needed our big table. I rode back up the hill with Amanda and Lauren, even though Lauren wasn’t happy that she had to give up the front seat to me… What am I going to do with that girl??? … Anyways, after they left I came in, did some reading and am now getting ready for bed. Alias is on in 30 minutes! I have to be up at 4:30 tomorrow so that I can be at the Bob, ready for the client at 6:30… Then a full day of school and who knows what else the new day will bring… Maybe we’ll start back up the Friday’s tradition, seeing that we skipped tonight!
Today has been …
I’m in a weird mood right now… I think I just need to go to sleep and try to forget about it … I don’t get it…
