Spent almost all of the day working for the high school. I think the highlight of the day was testing the sound system. Well, it turned out that we had no highs with any of the speakers, except that I know that amp was working because if I plugged it into another speaker it was working fine, so I figured either all of the horns were blown or that there was a wiring problem. After going to the shop this evening and finding out that the speakers do indeed work, I am wondering if Ryan only put 6 wires in his 8 pole speakon cables, and those happened to be the two cables that I grabbed when we tested today. I am hoping that was the problem as it will be an easy fix, although I will feel kind of stupid for having to call in the guys for something as stupid as that…

Other than playing with the sound system, not too much to report today. I got the videos burned to DVD for Friday, so I don’t have to deal with that tomorrow which will free me up to deal with the speakers and the audio cd for Friday. I still have to duplicate all those DVDs, but I did find the disc images, and some of the artwork. I also upgraded my 12″ to Panther, but I just realized that I think the reason I didn’t have it running Panther was because of Pro Tools, but I think they fixed that, so I’ll have to check… I did do an archive & install, so I can go back to Jaguar if needed.

It is way past my bedtime now… so I’m gonna go!

It looks like season 3 doesn’t come out on DVD until December 7, 2004! I don’t think I can make it that long!

Then we get season 4 starting in January on Fox.

I’m also still anxiously awaiting to see what Alias has to offer in season 4. Season 3 comes out on DVD Sept. 7.

I think I’m going to explode… I shouldn’t have had that second “little sliver” of cake. Not too much to report today. I went down to the school and worked on whatever stuff I came across. I watched The Skulls today when I came home because it was too hot to do anything else and then started working on the high school’s website. Someone hacked the guestbook… I get so tired of dealing with all these spam bots and hackers. Life was so much easier before the days of PHP…. If I get much more of this I’m either going to have to become a security expert or I’m going to give up on using “smart” pages and go back to static html.

My list of things to do around here is starting to pile up, so I think I’m going to be getting quite busy. I’ve got orders for copies of older videos coming in – and they’re already paid, so I have to work on fulfilling them. It just might take some work though. I can’t think of anything else to report, other than the fact that it was flipping hot here today… I want to go back to Idaho! Which reminds me that I haven’t heard back from Bishop Parker, so I need to give him another call. I did check on the Midas board for GT today though, and it has shipped and should be here on Friday.
