project for someone that is bored… I’m thinking that there has to be a site out there on the net where I can go and say I want to buy a (insert item here) and businesses/people submit bids for me to buy from them, something like the reverse of ebay…

I came across the ebay want it now site which is kind of that way, but you still have to make an ebay auction for someone to buy your stuff. I’m looking for something where say Rande posts that he wants a particular ceiling speaker and I come in and say, I’ll sell it to you for $150. Or Batch says, I want to buy a Treo 700 (he’s over the 650 already) and Sprint comes in and says, we’ll sell it to you for $650.

Does a site like this sound like a good idea to anyone else? Doesn’t something have to already exist? Maybe if it doesn’t, we should start it! Basically make the sellers do the work instead of the buyers!

Now… I don’t mind if someone goes and steals my idea here… but please remember who gave you the idea and send me some cash down the line!
