. . .

Nothing too crazy to report for the day that I can think of. The show this morning was another no brainer that went easy. I didn’t get any homework done during my break today because I was busy quoting stuff and then working on prepping the airband DVDs to go out. Yes, I finally got the first batch of 40 of them today… Bell’s show tonight went well, although I was going crazy sitting there as usual. I ended up updating/adding to my myspace… Scary thought!

I can’t think of anything else worth reporting. I need to get some sleep so I can work all day again tomorrow!

I had a really hard time making it to the Bob this morning… I was just was too tired, but I made it there… Not much really to report about this morning. We had the mime and I think the kids liked him. It was the same thing he did last year, and the year before so I really didn’t pay too much attention. After work I got my TB test read and Fallbrook Hospital has certified me TB free!

I spent most of the afternoon doing paperwork and quotes and then it was back to the Bob for Anything Goes. The show went good I guess cause I was pretty bored most of the time. I had a hard time staying awake during the show, but I made it through. Now I’m home and I’m headed to bed cause I get to do the same thing tomorrow!

. . .

Good night and God Bless!

. . .

Another morning of senior shows at the Bob. Nothing really interesting to report there. After that I ran into town, Hallmark and the Post Office, and then it was home to try and finish my essays before leaving for class. I got to school with just enough time to spare, took my math test, which I think I did alright on, but it sure would have helped if I had actually done the practice test… I was dying in Poly Sci… I just couldn’t sit there any longer. I guess I had spent too much time today sitting. I finished my essays for religion right at the beginning of class and sent them off. I stayed for the entire class, and the teacher didn’t even take attendance at the end! Oh well… It was a somewhat interesting discussion tonight and I think we were having fun tonight at the main campus with our side conversations. I think I conquered another switcher or two today.

Long drive home. I got to talk with Alison for a bit and stopped at the bar to meet pyro & chad for a Donna special. Now it’s time for bed so I can be back at the Bob early in the morning.

Good night and God Bless.

Today was good, but I didn’t get as much done as I was hoping for. This morning’s talking head (a.k.a. motivational speaker) was pretty good. He kept me entertained for most of the time at least. I think he had a good message for the kids.

. . .

Wow, OK, time to get back on track so I can get to bed! I finally made it to get my TB test, part one. It wasn’t that bad, but I sure don’t like needles. I got some writing done this afternoon, but not as much as I was hoping for. Hopefully I can get a lot done tomorrow morning at the Bob.

This evening at the ASB A-Team Awards thing Ruth asked about the video for the morning. I guess she thought that we were broadcasting video from the Bob to the classrooms and she told all the teachers that it was happening. So I told her that I’d see what we could do and pyro and I started trying to figure it out. Then I finally got to the point that I remembered that I was going well over and beyond my job at that point and I kind of stopped caring. I wish I could just say no. Maybe I’ll learn one of these days…

Guys put girls into three categories:
1. Friends.
2. Those that they think are hot.
3. The one they’re going to marry.

Make decisions for yourself. Don’t put them in other people’s hands. (i.e. by drinking, doing drugs, etc.)

Girls set your requirements for a guy high. Guys, set yours higher.

Marriage is not finding the right person, it’s being the right person.

School was a waste of my time today, even worse than usual. We did nothing in math other than turn in our homework and review for the test. I should have just faxed that in or something… In business writing we wrote a bad news letter that took all of about ten minutes. Then I left early. I was going to go to the library to look at books for this research paper, but I think I’m gonna see what I can find online first (hopefully tomorrow) and then I can get books if needed on Wednesday.

So, I ended up coming home early – which was good cause I had lots to do. I stopped at Best Buy on the way home. I spent about a half an hour looking for something to buy. Not cause I just felt like spending money, but because I had a $20 rewards certificate to use. I couldn’t find anything worth while to get for free! What’s up with that?

Friend: calls your parents by Mr. and Mrs.
Best friend: calls your parents dad and mom.

Friend: would bail you out of jail
Best friend: would be sitting next to you sayin “that was so damn cool!”

Friend: has never seen you cry
Best friend: has always had the best shoulder to cry on

Friend: never asks for anything to eat or drink
Best friend: opens the fridge and makes themselves at home

Friend: asks you to write down your number.
Best friend: they ask you for their number
(cuz they can’t remember it)

Friend: borrows your stuff for a few days then gives it back.
Best friend: has a closet full of your stuff

Friend: only knows a few things about you
Best friend: could write a biography on your life story

Friend: will leave you behind if that is what the crowd is doing
Best friend: will always go with you & be by your side

Never let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game.

If only real life was like the movies…

I just finished watching “A Cinderella Story.”
Three things come to mind:
1. If only life could work out like the movies…
2. “Never let the fear of striking out, keep you from playing the game.”
3. “I live in a world full of people pretending to be something their not, but when I’m with you I’m the guy I want to be.”

How true… On all counts!

I think that’s what it comes down to right there… I’m tired of pretending. I’ve gotten better – a lot better, but I’m still not there. I need to take a lesson from Sam. I need to learn to continue stepping back and trying to be the real me all the time, not just when I’m around certain people. Then the question becomes: Who is the real me?

Me, me, me, me. Well, me likes (wow that sounds totally like I copied it from somewhere, but I swear I did it without thinking about it!) to be around people who share similar ideals and beliefs. Me likes to hang out with friends, but likes to do different things, even though me tends to get stuck in a rut. Me loves food, but that doesn’t mean going out to eat for three meals a day! Me likes to talk. Me likes to watch movies, preferably with friends. Me really likes to laugh. Me loves and worships Jesus and me loves you (even if your last name isn’t Hagel). Me goes crazy without music.

Is that enough about me? Me has some goals too: Me wants to get the heck out of school, start a career and build a loving family. (Me says it doesn’t necessarily have to be completed in that order.) Me also says that me has had enough of talking while using the word me.

Me didn’t make it to church this morning cause I just didn’t get out of bed in time. I felt pretty bad about it too, but I guess sleep was important to “me” this morning. I did get some stuff done around the house before going to the wedding at the GT. After the wedding I came home, ate some dinner and ended up devoting my attention to watching the movie instead of working on other stuff.

. . .

Me needs to go to sleep so that I can get up and do lots of homework in the morning. Good night, God bless and Love you you all…

several weeks ago, this pastor was working late, and decided to call his wife before he left for home. It was about 10:00 PM, but his wife didn’t answer the phone.
The pastor let the phone ring many times. He thought it was odd that
she didn’t answer, but decided to wrap up a few things and try again in a
few minutes. When he tried again she answered right away. He asked her why she hadn’t answered before, and she said that it hadn’t rung at their house. They brushed it off as a fluke and went on their merry ways.
The following Monday, the pastor received a call at the church office,
which was the phone that he’d used that Saturday night. The man that he spoke with wanted to know why he’d called on Saturday night.
The pastor couldn’t figure out what the man was talking about. Then
the man said, “It rang and rang, but I didn’t answer.” The pastor remembered the mishap and apologized for disturbing him, explaining that he’d intended to call his wife.
The man said, “That’s, OK. Let me tell you my story.
You see, I was planning to commit suicide on Saturday night, but before
I did, I prayed, ‘God if you’re there, and you don’t want me to do this,
give me a sign now.’ At that point my phone started to ring. I looked at the caller ID, and it said, ‘Almighty God’. I was afraid to answer!”
The reason why it showed on the man’s caller ID that the call came from “Almighty God” is because the church that the pastor attends is called Almighty God Tabernacle!!

If you believe that God answers prayers then pass this on. God bless!

I took pictures at the field hockey golf tournament/fundraiser thing this afternoon. Besides being really bored out there with nothing to do while waiting for the golfers to show up and it raining, all went well. Costco printed my pictures in like 15 minutes – even my enlargements that I had ordered for other jobs! I drove the pictures back to Pala Mesa, and then took off for the Hagel’s. It was lots of fun… Exactly what I needed after a wet and fairly boring day.

. . .

I saw Chad & pyro driving home on my way home – which was very surprising considering it was almost 11:30! I guess they had a long night at the Bob. I’m glad I wasn’t there! I had an interesting conversation with Chad… I really want to know what I did to make someone unhappy at that school. I thought that all I have done is gone out of my way to make their lives easier and tried most of the time to save them money, stress, etc… but obviously someone feels otherwise. I’m so tired of all the drama. I WISH SOMEONE WOULD JUST COME OUT AND TELL ME THE TRUTH. I don’t know how much longer I can take this… Everyday seems like it is a new struggle.

Anyway, don’t want to rain on the parade of the day… (oh wait.. it did rain!) I’m not letting the district get to me. I’m just going to stop going out of my way to help cause obviously those aren’t the kind of people they want.

I got a wonderful email (forward) from Taugher tonight. I’ll post it tomorrow, but wow… Here’s the best part:

Love starts with a smile, grows with a kiss, and ends with a tear.

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices in the truth. Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.” – 1 Corinthians 13:4-8

Well, I think I’ve done enough writing and pondering for one night — seeing as how I’ve been here for almost an hour now… Good night. God Bless. And oh yeah, You’re welcome, I love you too.

I got through a little bit of the pile today, but I think it got just as big again when I went and got the mail… Lunch at La Caseta and then looked at the new projects at the mission. Lots of fun stuff going on there – all sorts of new cabling and decisions to be made.

This evening I was at the bob doing the final rehearsal for Anything Goes, the show the choir department is putting on. It looks like they’ve still got some work to do, but hopefully they will pull their act together. It looks like it could be a decent show though – not like some of the other shows that school likes to put on… I guess I’ll find out when I see the show one of these nights. In any event, I was trying/pretending to run sound tonight as pyro who was supposed to be doing it was busy with trying to get the lighting set.

. . .

Now I’m off to bed. I’ve got lots of stuff to get done tomorrow morning before I go take pictures for this field hockey thing. Hopefully everything works out with the pictures (and getting them printed quickly). I’m not sure what’s going on afterward either. I guess I’ll just have to wait and see what the Lord has in store for me… Good night and God Bless.
