Today was good. I didn’t get all my reading done for poly sci, but I think I pulled off a decent grade on the exam. Math wasn’t even all that boring today. I think I was just in a good mood all around. . . .

I got out of my exam really early today. So early in fact, that while I was on my way to Baja Fresh, I got sidetracked once again and ended up at The Cheesecake Factory. The place just isn’t the same without other people. It’s actually kind of boring – and it’s really hard to eat an entire meal, let alone try to stuff down dessert. I need to find someone to come with me. (Chad, any responses to that craigslist ad yet?)

I was so stuffed after Cheesecake, and I had some time to spare, so I decided to walk around the Brea Mall and see what it had to offer. Well, I happened to stumble into a store and had to buy something for someone. (Details to follow once the surprise is revealed.) . . .

Other good things today:
- It only cost me like $25 to fill up my truck this afternoon. Not sure why it was so much less today. I think gas was a little cheaper – and I must have driven a lot nicer the last couple days.
- Got to see Donna!!!! (met pyro, chad & bouse at the Bar on the way home.)
- DONNA SPECIAL!
- Talked to Aimee for a while. We still have to get together to have our little “talk.” Plus, now we must discuss Prom and Graduation too.
- Turned in some more keys to FHS. Less stuff they can bother me about now and more OT for Chuck!

So much for those 18 chapters of reading… I got through one of them last night and one today, but there still are quire a few to go. I think I’m gonna try and get through one of the short ones before going to sleep tonight, but we’ll see how long I can last. The bright side is, I think I did a good job paying attention in class, so hopefully I picked up most of what I needed to know from there and the reading that I have done.

The choral rehearsal was a pain tonight. I spent the entire night trying to get the wireless mics setup. Well, for some reason or another there were hums on some of the channels and some others just didn’t want to work. It was a big pain. In the end I think we did get some of the problems worked out, but there are still some that someone else is gonna have to try and figure out tomorrow.

I got up this morning and started doing homework. I did homework for hours until it was time to get in the shower . . . . Then it was off to school, without having my resume or cover letter done yet. Fortunately, I was able to get them done at school before class started.

Math was boring as usual. I think I needed to find an accelerated version of this class, but it’s too late now! In business writing, we went around, read and commented on each others resumes and cover letters. It was actually interesting to learn about the histories of some of my classmates.

Ron, Kathy & I went to dinner at Pasta Bravo tonight. A word of advice: even though pizza is dead center on their menu, don’t order it… The pizza was actually alright, but it just doesn’t appear that it is their speciality. Next time I’ll try something a little more like pasta. I also made a big mistake tonight and had a wild cherry pepsi. Holy hanna… I feel sick just from drinking one cup of that stuff! It’s just water and strawberry lemonade for me from here on out!

I came home and started reading some more. I’m gonna try really hard to get through all this reading I have to do before my poly sci test on Wednesday. It’s gonna be a hard battle, but I’m gonna hit it head on if I can. Good night to all! God Bless!

Today has been long and crazy. I got up way too early this morning and met Alana at Cafe Bravo. It was good to see her for the first time in a while and catch up with her. We got to fight with all the avocado festival traffic which was lots of fun. Fortunately we were there early enough to where we could still find some parking.

After that I got the wireless networking stuff working for GT at my house and then went down there to give it a real test with the antennas and stuff. I think the system is going to work out quite well considering that I can pretty much get wireless network on my laptop anywhere on site now – and we haven’t even installed the antennas yet!

The wedding went alright. Amanda is training as a bridal assistant now, and was also doing seating today. She said something to me about getting the wedding going, so I told Gina that Amanda said we needed to get the wedding going now. Amanda then got all worried that she was going to get fired for this and that, and then it was just easy to bug her for the rest of the day with that!

After the wedding I went over to Jeff’s to fix some computer problems. Three hours later I finally got out of there… Ussher came over and looked through the dance performance pictures – it looks like there are some good ones. Pyro came over and we talked about Jeff’s site. It’s been a long time since I started that project (Aug 03), so it was hard to remember a lot of the details.

Oh well. It is time for bed now. I have to get up early in the morning and try and get all of this homework done. Lots and lots of stuff to do!!! I don’t think I’m gonna have enough time again! Unfortunately, I think this entire week is going to be like that!

Another year over. I started doing this in 1998, which would make this year number eight, but I think I missed at least one year, maybe two when Chris was working in the theater. The show went well and the strike went amazing fast. We were out of there at 10:30, only about an hour later than we were out the night before. Pretty darn amazing if you ask me.

Just about everyone else headed out to the Bar after the strike, but I decided against going. I’ve got to be up early in the morning to meet Alana for breakfast and then I have to get this wireless thing for GT figured out before the wedding.

Speaking of weddings, this morning’s wedding went fine. We had some problems with the DVD, but it worked fine when I played it off the computer in the gift shop. I got to stay to run the DVD and started playing with configuring the access points for the new point-to-point wireless network. Of course, things weren’t going as smoothly as they should have so I didn’t get them working. Hence why I have to make it work tomorrow!

I actually got some reading done before going to the Bob tonight. I was planning on getting a lot of other stuff done, but I’m happy that I actually got something done. I have a lot more homework to go though before I’ll be ready for class though…

In other highly important news of the day… RILEY IS THE STAGE MANAGER FOR THE NEXT CYT SHOW!!!!! This totally made my day when I found out this afternoon! I miss that girl and her family like crazy. . . .

Oh well, now that I’ve got that out of my system I think I can go to bed now.

The day went fairly well. A lot of rehearsal, then on my dinner break I went and did a wedding at the GT. I’m already tired of working at that place! Then it was back to the Bob to do the show. The show went great. Pretty much all the little kinks got worked out that we had. Hopefully tomorrow will go just as well. Brooke came and kept me company for the second half of the show and tried to tell me when to take my pictures instead of me just pushing the trigger down till the shutter stopped. It was funny. I looked through the pictures and it looks like there should be some good ones in there.

Oh well, wedding in the morning tomorrow. Then I’ve got a decent break to get some stuff done – like homework and paying bills – and then it is back to the Bob for the second night of the dance show and then strike. Good night to all. God Bless.

Pyro, Chad and I did the loadin for dance performance today. Nothing too different from every other year. I remember back when this was just like a huge event. I guess Promack still looks at it as a huge event for him – as he goes through a lot of work on all that video stuff…

Batch came up and he, Lauren, Pyro and myself went out to dinner at the Bar. No Donna or Jeremy! :’( It was decent enough though. Then I went back to the Bob and stayed for close to an hour before finally getting smart enough to come home!

Tomorrow should be lots of fun. Rehearsal 8-3 at the school, then a wedding at GT and then I get to rush back to the Bob for the show.

I got up this morning and started doing homework. Lots and lots of homework. So much homework in fact that I didn’t get it all done before I had to leave for school. It didn’t help that I had Lane calling me and bugging me for a check – and sending Amanda to come get the check once I got it.

I did end up getting to Fullerton fairly early today though. So early, that I ended up going to the Cheesecake Factory for lunch. I tried to get some writing done on my essays that were due this evening, but just couldn’t come up with anything to say. Anyway, the Cheesecake was good and kept me full through the day. Much better than Del Taco!

We’ve got a test next week in Poly Sci, so I’m gonna be doing a lot of reading in the next week… A LOT OF READING… Something like 8 chapters in one textbook (about 30 pages a chapter) and 9 in another! I ended up leaving my religion class early as I couldn’t think of anything to contribute to the class and I really wanted to go home.

Fallbrook High Dance Performance is this weekend. Load in starts tomorrow morning, so that’s where you can find me for the next couple days. Hopefully it will be a good one…

I made it through day 3!!!!! Withdrawals were minimal and I didn’t die! Who would have thought it was possible? (And for all of you who have been wondering what the heck I’ve been talking about for the past 3 days:) RILEY IS HOME! I missed that girl! Heck, I miss the whole family! . . .

In other news… I got my taxes done this evening! I spent the morning fixing transactions and depreciating assets. Then, when I got home this afternoon I started running the numbers and finally transferred them to the forms and called it a day. The business had a big loss last year, to make up for the money we made the year before. In any event, I’m getting like $1500 back from the Fed and $200 from the state I think. Of course I have to figure out who actually gets what money (i.e. me vs. the company). My personal income was way down this year too. I guess that’s what happens when you take the summer off and when I started taking more time off from work as opposed to working every possible shift I could find. I’m not sure how this year is going to shape out quite yet either.

I took Pat his new wireless mics this afternoon, along with picked up the mics for the upcoming choral show from him. I also spent some time over at the internal headquarters of Brand Construction taking care of some of his miscellaneous computer problems. Hopefully we’ll get rolling on the website here shortly too.
