Well, as with most Sunday’s, I didn’t make it to Church as I had way too much stuff to get done. One of those side effects of putting everything off until the last possible minute I guess. I keep saying that next week I’ll get ahead, or at least not be as far behind, but every week I seem to just be even farther behind and the to do list seems to just keep growing.
In any event, I did get some homework done before going to CYT. We did the show really without any problems. It was really nice to get out of there at a decent time for once; I actually was able to get some more homework done before going to bed.
I had school this morning, although as I was pulling up to the campus, I almost thought it was closed or something. Someone had coned off the main entrance to the campus, but there was no police there, no signs, nothing other than cones. I thought about just driving through them, but I decided to see if I could figure out what was going on first. I drove around to another entrance, took a round about way of getting to lot E and then parked in my normal spot. I didn’t figure out why the had the place coned off, and I still have no clue.
I practically slept through ISDS and Health this morning. I got a good nights sleep, but I just couldn’t keep my eyes open. Then we took a test in Finance. I had fun guessing on some of the questions; my calculator just wasn’t giving me answers that corresponded to choices on the test. I’m thinking maybe it is time to break down and buy this stupid special calculator that they push in the class since no one will tell you how to do it on a normal calculator – and we’re aren’t allowed to use Excel during tests!
I spent most of the afternoon returning phone calls, but didn’t make any sales yet. One of these days we’re really going to have to start stocking some products so that we can make sales to people who want the stuff right away. I got about a quarter of my ISDS homework done today, so that only leaves three more chapters for tomorrow along with lots of other fun stuff to do!

While sitting in front of the school this morning, on my way to work at the Bob, I discovered the marquee saying: “FUHS is Back in Business” and something about looking forward to a great year. This left me with one question: I know that the school runs an absolutely horrible business, but when did we go out of business?
I had lots of stuff to do this morning, but I just couldn’t bring myself to do hardly any of it. Instead, I happened to find a DVD with CSI on it and well, I made it so that it could get mailed back to Netflix without any further delays!
The shows at the Bob went well, nothing really interesting to report. I was more than a little frustrated to find out (well, remember) that our stupid high school district is too incompetent to hire janitors and therefore that meant that we had to clean the theater for the church in the morning. I stayed for a little while as I didn’t want to leave Nathaniel there all by himself to do the work, but I think under other circumstances I would have just left seeing as how we were already past the time that we were scheduled to be there until. Hopefully Chad can get this figured out for the future, but I know that it wasn’t his decision either. I guess either way he needs to figure out a new plan, cause I sure won’t be doing it anymore.
Well, lots to do tomorrow: Homework, CYT show, more homework and maybe, just maybe I might be able to make it to Church?

This morning I took my truck in to get the brake release cable replaced. On my way home from school on Monday, when I tried to pull away from the gas pump, my parking break wouldn’t release. So after calling Chevy and them trying to talk me through how to release it, I ended up having to wait for a tow truck to come and release the break for me. I guess this is a common problem on Chevy’s and Cadillacs.
In any event, I spent over three hours at Paradise this morning for them to replace a two foot long cable. I swear they could have given me the cable and I could have done it before they finished walking around the truck. Then of course while it was in there they decided that it needed to have all of the other recall work done, and that took them another hour… Oh yeah, and they washed it… I would have rather had them just give me my truck back so that I could go home!
To try and get myself in a better mood after wasting three hours, I got my pumpkin spice doughnuts. They were good, but I don’t think it helped take away my frustration.
When I got home, I called Intuit and tried to figure out the problem I’ve been having with QuickBooks and not downloading payroll updates properly. After spending more than an hour on the phone with a CSR and getting nowhere I decided to call it quits, so I am still at square one and can’t do half of the payroll things I need to do! (Are you adding up all the wasted time today???)
I shot pictures at the Field Hockey game today. It was a good game, other than the little part about us loosing to San Pasqual.
I’m anxious to see how this new photo thing we’re doing for Greg is going to work out. I hope we are able to raise some money for the girls, but I have to question who is going to buy the pictures who wouldn’t already be contributing money to field hockey.
We did our first real show of Aladdin tonight and it went off fairly well.
Well, it’s late and I’ve got lots to do tomorrow…
