I’ve enjoyed most of my week off. I was able to get some much needed rest, but I can’t say that I got nearly as much done as I was hoping to. (That sure sounds awfully familiar.) I did, however, get the stuff done that needed to be done, well, the important stuff, and I even got some reading ahead done for class this week.

I spent most of the week busy dealing with work that kept popping up, but nothing really exciting. I got some service done on my truck and got the house cleaned up a bit. I put up the Christmas lights (with a little bit of help from Matthew) the other day. I really think that whoever invented those things, especially of the icicle variety, needs to be shot. Chad said there are some new LED varieties available, maybe they are a lot less work (in addition to costing a lot less to actually run).

We did Thanksgiving here at the house; Susan’s mom and brother came over, and Charlie brought a friend as well. The usual turkey dinner, and more importantly the desserts. I just finished the pumpkin pie today. There is about one serving left of carmel cake and then I guess it is on to the apple pie.

Mom is out of the hospital. …

I had lunch with Alana, Alison, Tim and Mandy on Friday. It was good to see them, but wasn’t old times, and we didn’t even go to Oscars!

I really don’t want to go back to school tomorrow, but I am looking forward to Fudds!

I spent all day Tuesday working on my paper for business writing and reading for health and finance. I did decently well, but I really shouldn’t have put it off that long. I was actually surprised at how well I did finding sources for my paper. I’m glad of this because I don’t think my original plan of citing sources for the gear list was really going to work out.

Wednesday morning I took a test in health, which I think I did fairly well, and then I tried to work on my paper during finance, but I just wasn’t in the right mood.

Wednesday afternoon I worked on my paper and sent it off around 6. I talked to my mom briefly, she is still in the hospital, but she says they still don’t know anything. I hope she gets out soon; I don’t know how many more heart attacks on a bun I can eat for her while she is in there!

Today was long. It started with ASL Charlie Brown Thanksgiving rehearsal this morning and then we, well Chad, mounted the EVIDs in the lobby. I came home briefly for lunch and to change and then it was off to a memorial service. Desoree was too cheap to hire a gazebo guy, so I got to do that job too. Unfortunately for someone else, I ran out of time before I was able to get everything cleaned up as I had to head back to the Bob for the ASL show. Things went well and I even got to sit and enjoy the first half of the show.

Tomorrow it looks like I get to play computer guy for most of the day and then I’m looking forward to Saturday when I get to “sleep in” and maybe finally have some time to myself. A bikeride is sounding/feeling really good right now… Especially after that second Fudds this week… Thanks Kathryn!

I register for classes on Friday morning and I can’t decide what to do!

I’m leaning towards the following schedule:

Tuesday & Thursday:
7-8:15 a.m. – Mgmt 340 – Organizational Behavior
8:30-9:45 a.m. – Mgmt 339 – Prin of Manag & Operation
10-11:15 a.m. – ISDS 361B – Qba: Stat & Mgmt Sci
Lunch Break – yeah for on campus dining!
1-2:15 p.m. – Acct 307 – Accounting Info System
2:30-3:45 p.m. – Acct 301A – Intermediate Accounting

The only other option I really have would be to do Monday & Wednesday from 11-5 or 1-7, longer if I wanted a break. I could also do the above without a break, but I doubt I could go from 7 am to 2:15 in the afternoon without a lunch break. If I did it without the break I could do it Mon/Wed too I think.

Such hard decisions…
