Early Night

This is the earliest I have started writing in quite some time. In fact, I think this is the earliest I have been home in some time as well. I had to work a wedding this afternoon and I ended up just coming home to relax afterward. I got home just in time for dinner and then decided to take a shower, not knowing what would come of the evening. Bouse was trying to get me to come see a movie revolving around ping pong, Balls of Fury or something like that. It didn’t look all that interesting to me and I really didn’t have time to get there if I wanted to eat dinner and take a shower. They later changed the movie to something else, but by that point I was not really interested.

I was planning on watching something from NetFlix tonight, even if Lauren didn’t come over. However, the other day I got some new books from Amazon which I hadn’t yet had the opportunity to read. The first one is “How to Win Friends & Influence People” and I also got a book entitled “Prayer.” I decided while I was waiting for Lauren I would just start reading through the Prayer book. When i didn’t hear back from Lauren I decided to continue reading in the other book and now the evening has been spent reading.

It kind of rained for a bit this afternoon at the office. I tried to go out and play in it, but it would stop once I got outside or wouldn’t rain enough to really do much. I have just enjoyed the last few days the wonderful smell of fresh rain. The wather lately has reminded me so much of Idaho, which I have been missing with extra enthusiasm lately. I told Bouse the other day that I would gladly go to Idaho for a week solely to enjoy the weather. I think I may have to plan a trip up there sometime soon to visit and enjoy.

I just took a few minutes to look at the Rexburg temple. The open house is apparently going to be in January and it will be dedicated in February. I may totally have to go there. Just looking at the pictures of it now and reading about it makes me want to drop everything and go there now. Even though it isn’t complete yet, they have the spire lit up and it’s just amazing. How beautiful!
